Fall fun with Martha & Pinterest!

I'm having a few friends over for a creative play day this weekend, and I still haven't pulled out my Halloween decorations. I'm not sure I will, it's time to sort through that box tossing what's seen better days and of course keep the things I love. I'm not sure that's going to happen just yet, so this morning I went to MarthaStewart.com to see her Halloween goods. She loves Halloween and always has great recipes and decor. Here's what I found...
And I'll be wishing I had this costume!
I'm putting our lunch together from recipes I found on Pinterest. I know, I know; not everything there is what it seems. So I'll be cooking it all ahead of time to be sure it's just what I'm hoping for. I'll try and remember to take photos and let you know how it all turns out. I hope you have a great weekend as well!

Welcoming the Holiday Season...

I recently entered and won a giveaway on Carol Spinski's beautiful blog. She is one of several women who are part of Jeanne Oliver's newest e-course, Home for the Holidays. As anyone who knows me personally can attest, I am no slave to fashion. I have always been far more interested in our home, and homemaking. It's my sanctuary, my happy little corner of the world, and where I am most comfortable. For me
there really is no place like home!
The wonderful women that are a part of the course...
I'm looking forward to this e-course and the holiday season ahead of us. This is such a fun time of year, I just wish it wouldn't pass by so quickly! Thanks again Carol for hosting the giveaway, I was so surprised to win. I can't wait to see what you all have in store for us.
